Paul is the head of the ministry I used to serve in . . . long story semi-short, I gave the message one month, they "ministry team" (which, oddly enough, I was on . . .) misconstrued some of my comments and were offended, and therefore stripped me of all of my responsibilities within the ministry, including promoting a major upcoming event (Andrew Schwab came out and spoke - very cool!). In fact, Paul actually went over my head and contacted Schwab's booking agent in order to take me off the project, based on a lot of stupid, unfounded accusations, before he even talked to me about it. When my family and I spoke to our Pastor about the situation, he said he would talk to Paul and ask him to reconsider his position and to try to find it in his heart to apologize to me . . . and Paul never did. In fact, we haven't talked in several months, until after Pastor's sermon on anger today. Interesting . . .
Anyway, that wasn't very "short," but oh well! If you want more info, I'd be happy to share, but this is probably enough for you! =)
